CVE-2019-1642 – Cisco Firepower Management Center Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-1642
A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the web-based management interface of the affected software. The vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input by the web-based management interface of the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by persuading a user of the interface to click a crafted link. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or access sensitive, browser-based information. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/46263 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106714 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20190123-frpwr-mc-xss • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2018-15458 – Cisco Firepower Management Center Disk Utilization Denial of Service Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-15458
A vulnerability in the Shell Access Filter feature of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC), when used in conjunction with remote authentication, could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause high disk utilization, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability occurs because the configuration of the Shell Access Filter, when used with a specific type of remote authentication, can cause a system file to have unbounded writes. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a steady stream of remote authentication requests to the appliance when the specific configuration is applied. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to increase the size of a system log file so that it consumes most of the disk space. The lack of available disk space could lead to a DoS condition in which the device functions could operate abnormally, making the device unstable. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/106516 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20190109-fpwr-mc-dos • CWE-399: Resource Management Errors CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •
CVE-2018-15443 – Cisco Firepower Detection Engine TCP Intrusion Prevention System Rule Bypass Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-15443
A vulnerability in the detection engine of Cisco Firepower System Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass a configured Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) rule that inspects certain types of TCP traffic. The vulnerability is due to incorrect TCP retransmission handling. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted TCP connection request through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass configured IPS rules and allow uninspected traffic onto the network. Una vulnerabilidad en el motor de detección del software Cisco Firepower System Software podría permitir que un atacante remoto no autenticado omita una regla IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) configurada que inspecciona determinados tipos de tráfico TCP. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105870 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20181107-fde-tcp-bypass • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •
CVE-2018-15454 – Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Software Denial of Service Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-15454
A vulnerability in the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) inspection engine of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload or trigger high CPU, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is due to improper handling of SIP traffic. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending SIP requests designed to specifically trigger this issue at a high rate across an affected device. Software updates that address this vulnerability are not yet available. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105768 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1042129 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20181031-asaftd-sip-dos • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
CVE-2018-0395 – Cisco FXOS and NX-OS Software Link Layer Discovery Protocol Denial of Service Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-0395
A vulnerability in the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) implementation for Cisco FXOS Software and Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition when the device unexpectedly reloads. The vulnerability is due to improper input validation of certain type, length, value (TLV) fields of the LLDP frame header. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted LLDP packet to an interface on the targeted device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the switch to reload unexpectedly. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105674 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041919 https://tools.cisco.com/security/center/content/CiscoSecurityAdvisory/cisco-sa-20181017-fxnx-os-dos • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
