As part of a winning Pwn2Own entry, a researcher demonstrated a sandbox escape by installing a malicious language pack and then opening a browser feature that used the compromised translation. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox on affected installations of Mozilla Firefox. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00055.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00058.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00073.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00017.html https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1538007 https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1539598 https://bugzilla.mozil • CWE-74: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') CWE-807: Reliance on Untrusted Inputs in a Security Decision •

Lack of correct bounds checking in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 73.0.3683.75 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page. La falta de comprobación de límites correcta en Skia en Google Chrome antes de la versión 73.0.3683.75, permitió que un atacante remoto ejecutara una lectura de memoria fuera de límites por medio de una página HTML creada. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00002.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00029.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00084.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00085.html https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1308 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1309 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:1310 https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2019/03/stable-ch • CWE-125: Out-of-bounds Read •

png_image_free in png.c in libpng 1.6.x before 1.6.37 has a use-after-free because png_image_free_function is called under png_safe_execute. La función png_image_free en el archivo png.c en libpng versiones 1.6.x anteriores a 1.6.37, presenta un uso de la memoria previamente liberada porque la función png_image_free_function es llamada bajo png_safe_execute. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00002.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00029.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00084.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00038.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00044.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/152561/Slackware-Security-Advisory-libpng-Updates.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/108098 https:/ • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-416: Use After Free •

A bug in the standard library ScalarMult implementation of curve P-256 for amd64 architectures in Go before 1.7.6 and 1.8.x before 1.8.2 causes incorrect results to be generated for specific input points. An adaptive attack can be mounted to progressively extract the scalar input to ScalarMult by submitting crafted points and observing failures to the derive correct output. This leads to a full key recovery attack against static ECDH, as used in popular JWT libraries. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-updates/2017-06/msg00079.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-updates/2017-06/msg00080.html https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2017:1859 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1455191 https://github.com/golang/go/commit/9294fa2749ffee7edbbb817a0ef9fe633136fa9c https://github.com/golang/go/issues/20040 https://go-review.googlesource.com/c/41070 https://groups.google.com/d/msg/golang-announce/B5ww0iFt1_Q/TgUFJV14BgAJ https://lists.fedoraproject.org&# • CWE-682: Incorrect Calculation •

The parse_string function in cjson.c in the cJSON library mishandles UTF8/16 strings, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) or execute arbitrary code via a non-hex character in a JSON string, which triggers a heap-based buffer overflow. • http://blog.talosintel.com/2016/06/esnet-vulnerability.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-updates/2016-08/msg00082.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-updates/2016-08/msg00090.html http://software.es.net/iperf/news.html#security-issue-iperf-3-1-3-iperf-3-0-12-released http://www.talosintelligence.com/reports/TALOS-2016-0164 https://github.com/esnet/iperf/commit/91f2fa59e8ed80dfbf400add0164ee0e508e412a https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/01/msg00023.html https://raw.github • CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') •
