CVE-2020-14391 – gnome-settings-daemon: Red Hat Customer Portal password logged and passed as command line argument when user registers through GNOME control center
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-14391
A flaw was found in the GNOME Control Center in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 versions prior to 8.2, where it improperly uses Red Hat Customer Portal credentials when a user registers a system through the GNOME Settings User Interface. This flaw allows a local attacker to discover the Red Hat Customer Portal password. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1873093 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2020-14391 • CWE-522: Insufficiently Protected Credentials •
CVE-2020-14355 – spice: multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities in QUIC decoding code
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-14355
Multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities were found in the QUIC image decoding process of the SPICE remote display system, before spice-0.14.2-1. Both the SPICE client (spice-gtk) and server are affected by these flaws. These flaws allow a malicious client or server to send specially crafted messages that, when processed by the QUIC image compression algorithm, result in a process crash or potential code execution. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-11/msg00000.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-11/msg00001.html https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1868435 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/11/msg00001.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/11/msg00002.html https://usn.ubuntu.com/4572-1 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4572-2 https://www.debian.org/security/2020/dsa-4771 https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss • CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') •
CVE-2020-1045 – Microsoft ASP.NET Core Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-1045
<p>A security feature bypass vulnerability exists in the way Microsoft ASP.NET Core parses encoded cookie names.</p> <p>The ASP.NET Core cookie parser decodes entire cookie strings which could allow a malicious attacker to set a second cookie with the name being percent encoded.</p> <p>The security update addresses the vulnerability by fixing the way the ASP.NET Core cookie parser handles encoded names.</p> Se presenta una vulnerabilidad de omisión de la característica de seguridad en la manera en que Microsoft ASP.NET Core analiza los nombres de cookies codificados. CVE-2020-9490 – httpd: Push diary crash on specifically crafted HTTP/2 header
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-9490
Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.20 to 2.4.43. A specially crafted value for the 'Cache-Digest' header in a HTTP/2 request would result in a crash when the server actually tries to HTTP/2 PUSH a resource afterwards. Configuring the HTTP/2 feature via "H2Push off" will mitigate this vulnerability for unpatched servers. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-08/msg00068.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-08/msg00071.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-10/msg00081.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/160392/Apache-2.4.43-mod_http2-Memory-Corruption.html https://httpd.apache.org/security/vulnerabilities_24.html#CVE-2020-9490 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r06f0d87ebb6d59ed8379633f36f72f5b1f79cadfda72ede0830b42cf%40%3Ccvs.httpd.apache.org%3E https://lists& • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-444: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') •
CVE-2020-14311 – grub2: Integer overflow in grub_ext2_read_link leads to heap-based buffer overflow
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-14311
There is an issue with grub2 before version 2.06 while handling symlink on ext filesystems. A filesystem containing a symbolic link with an inode size of UINT32_MAX causes an arithmetic overflow leading to a zero-sized memory allocation with subsequent heap-based buffer overflow.
