CVE-2019-3884 – atomic-openshift: cross-namespace owner references can trigger deletions of valid children
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-3884
A vulnerability exists in the garbage collection mechanism of atomic-openshift. An attacker able spoof the UUID of a valid object from another namespace is able to delete children of those objects. Versions 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 3.10, 3.11 and 4.1 are affected. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2019-3884 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2019-3884 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1693905 • CWE-287: Improper Authentication CWE-290: Authentication Bypass by Spoofing •
CVE-2019-5736 – runc < 1.0-rc6 (Docker < 18.09.2) - Container Breakout
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-5736
runc through 1.0-rc6, as used in Docker before 18.09.2 and other products, allows attackers to overwrite the host runc binary (and consequently obtain host root access) by leveraging the ability to execute a command as root within one of these types of containers: (1) a new container with an attacker-controlled image, or (2) an existing container, to which the attacker previously had write access, that can be attached with docker exec. A flaw was found in the way runc handled system file descriptors when running containers. A malicious container could use this flaw to overwrite contents of the runc binary and consequently run arbitrary commands on the container host system. • https://github.com/Frichetten/CVE-2019-5736-PoC https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/46369 https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/46359 https://github.com/twistlock/RunC-CVE-2019-5736 https://github.com/jas502n/CVE-2019-5736 https://github.com/RyanNgWH/CVE-2019-5736-POC https://github.com/zyriuse75/CVE-2019-5736-PoC https://github.com/likescam/CVE-2019-5736 https://github.com/geropl/CVE-2019-5736 https://github.com/si1ent-le/CVE-2019-5736 https://github.com/ • CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') CWE-672: Operation on a Resource after Expiration or Release •
CVE-2018-14645 – haproxy: Out-of-bounds read in HPACK decoder
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-14645
A flaw was discovered in the HPACK decoder of HAProxy, before 1.8.14, that is used for HTTP/2. An out-of-bounds read access in hpack_valid_idx() resulted in a remote crash and denial of service. CVE-2018-10875 – ansible: ansible.cfg is being read from current working directory allowing possible code execution
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-10875
A flaw was found in ansible. ansible.cfg is read from the current working directory which can be altered to make it point to a plugin or a module path under the control of an attacker, thus allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary code. It was found that ansible.cfg is being read from the current working directory, which can be made to point to plugin or module paths that are under control of the attacker. CVE-2018-10885
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2018-10885
In atomic-openshift before version 3.10.9 a malicious network-policy configuration can cause Openshift Routing to crash when using ovs-networkpolicy plugin. An attacker can use this flaw to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) attack on an Openshift 3.9, or 3.7 Cluster. • http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/104688 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2018-10885 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation •
