CVE-2021-21779 – webkitgtk: Use-after-free in WebCore::GraphicsContext leading to information leak and possibly code execution
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-21779
A use-after-free vulnerability exists in the way Webkit’s GraphicsContext handles certain events in WebKitGTK 2.30.4. A specially crafted web page can lead to a potential information leak and further memory corruption. A victim must be tricked into visiting a malicious web page to trigger this vulnerability. • http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2021/07/23/1 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/KYMMBQN4PRVDLMIJT2LY2BWHLYBD57P3 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/V4QORERLPDN3UNNJFJSOMHZZCU2G75Q6 https://talosintelligence.com/vulnerability_reports/TALOS-2021-1238 https://www.debian.org/security/2021/dsa-4945 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2021-21779 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id • CWE-416: Use After Free •
CVE-2021-23017 – Nginx 1.20.0 - Denial of Service (DOS)
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-23017
A security issue in nginx resolver was identified, which might allow an attacker who is able to forge UDP packets from the DNS server to cause 1-byte memory overwrite, resulting in worker process crash or potential other impact. A flaw was found in nginx. An off-by-one error while processing DNS responses allows a network attacker to write a dot character out of bounds in a heap allocated buffer which can allow overwriting the least significant byte of next heap chunk metadata likely leading to a remote code execution in certain circumstances. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability. Nginx version 1.20.0 suffers from a denial of service vulnerability. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50973 https://github.com/M507/CVE-2021-23017-PoC https://github.com/ShivamDey/CVE-2021-23017 https://github.com/lakshit1212/CVE-2021-23017-PoC http://mailman.nginx.org/pipermail/nginx-announce/2021/000300.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/167720/Nginx-1.20.0-Denial-Of-Service.html https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r37e6b2165f7c910d8e15fd54f4697857619ad2625f56583802004009%40%3Cnotifications.apisix.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r4d4966221ca399 • CWE-193: Off-by-one Error •
CVE-2021-22898 – curl: TELNET stack contents disclosure
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-22898
curl 7.7 through 7.76.1 suffers from an information disclosure when the `-t` command line option, known as `CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS` in libcurl, is used to send variable=content pairs to TELNET servers. Due to a flaw in the option parser for sending NEW_ENV variables, libcurl could be made to pass on uninitialized data from a stack based buffer to the server, resulting in potentially revealing sensitive internal information to the server using a clear-text network protocol. curl versiones 7.7 hasta 7.76.1 sufre de una divulgacion de información cuando la opción de línea de comandos "-t", conocida como "CURLOPT_TELNETOPTIONS" en libcurl, se usa para enviar pares de variables=contenido a servidores TELNET. A flaw was found in the way curl handled telnet protocol option for sending environment variables, which could lead to sending of uninitialized data from a stack-based buffer to the server. CVE-2021-28662 – squid: denial of service in HTTP response processing
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-28662
An issue was discovered in Squid 4.x before 4.15 and 5.x before 5.0.6. If a remote server sends a certain response header over HTTP or HTTPS, there is a denial of service. This header can plausibly occur in benign network traffic. • http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2023/Oct/14 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2023/10/11/3 http://www.squid-cache.org/Versions/v6/changesets/squid-6-051824924c709bd6162a378f746fb859454c674e.patch https://github.com/squid-cache/squid/commit/051824924c709bd6162a378f746fb859454c674e https://github.com/squid-cache/squid/security/advisories/GHSA-jjq6-mh2h-g39h https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/LSQ3U54ZCNXR44QRPW3AV2VCS6K3TKCF https://lists.fedoraproject.org/a • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-116: Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output •
CVE-2021-31806 – squid: improper input validation in HTTP Range header
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2021-31806
An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.15 and 5.x before 5.0.6. Due to a memory-management bug, it is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack (against all clients using the proxy) via HTTP Range request processing. An incorrect input validation flaw was found in Squid, where it is vulnerable to a denial of service attack against all clients using the proxy.
