CVE-2020-10711 – Kernel: NetLabel: null pointer dereference while receiving CIPSO packet with null category may cause kernel panic
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-10711
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel's SELinux subsystem in versions before 5.7. This flaw occurs while importing the Commercial IP Security Option (CIPSO) protocol's category bitmap into the SELinux extensible bitmap via the' ebitmap_netlbl_import' routine. While processing the CIPSO restricted bitmap tag in the 'cipso_v4_parsetag_rbm' routine, it sets the security attribute to indicate that the category bitmap is present, even if it has not been allocated. This issue leads to a NULL pointer dereference issue while importing the same category bitmap into SELinux. This flaw allows a remote network user to crash the system kernel, resulting in a denial of service. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-06/msg00022.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-07/msg00008.html https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2020-10711 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/06/msg00012.html https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20200608-0001 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4411-1 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4412-1 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4413-1 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4414-1 https://usn.ubuntu& • CWE-476: NULL Pointer Dereference •
CVE-2020-1760 – ceph: header-splitting in RGW GetObject has a possible XSS
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-1760
A flaw was found in the Ceph Object Gateway, where it supports request sent by an anonymous user in Amazon S3. This flaw could lead to potential XSS attacks due to the lack of proper neutralization of untrusted input. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2020-1760 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2021/08/msg00013.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/10/msg00034.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/P3A2UFR5IUIEXJUCF64GQ5OVLCZGODXE https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/202105-39 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4528-1 https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2020/04/07/1 https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/ • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2019-20485 – libvirt: Potential DoS by holding a monitor job while querying QEMU guest-agent
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-20485
qemu/qemu_driver.c in libvirt before 6.0.0 mishandles the holding of a monitor job during a query to a guest agent, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (API blockage). A flaw was found in the way the libvirtd daemon issued the 'suspend' command to a QEMU guest-agent running inside a guest, where it holds a monitor job while issuing the 'suspend' command to a guest-agent. A malicious guest-agent may use this flaw to block the libvirt daemon indefinitely, resulting in a denial of service. • https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=953078 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1809740 https://libvirt.org/git/?p=libvirt.git%3Ba=commit%3Bh=a663a860819287e041c3de672aad1d8543098ecc https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/D5GE6ISYUL3CIWO3FQRUGMKTKP2NYED2 https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2019-20485 https://www.mail-archive.com/debian-bugs-dist%40lists.debian.org/msg1730509.html https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2019 • CWE-20: Improper Input Validation CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption •
CVE-2020-10531 – ICU: Integer overflow in UnicodeString::doAppend()
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-10531
An issue was discovered in International Components for Unicode (ICU) for C/C++ through 66.1. An integer overflow, leading to a heap-based buffer overflow, exists in the UnicodeString::doAppend() function in common/unistr.cpp. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-04/msg00004.html https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2020:0738 https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1044570 https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2020/02/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_24.html https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/deps/icu/+/9f4020916eb1f28f3666f018fdcbe6c9a37f0e08 https://github.com/unicode-org/icu/commit/b7d08bc04a4296982fcef8b6b8a354a9e4e7afca https://github.com/unicode-org/icu/pull/971 https://lists.debian • CWE-190: Integer Overflow or Wraparound CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2020-8659 – envoy: Excessive CPU and/or memory usage when proxying HTTP/1.1
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-8659
CNCF Envoy through 1.13.0 may consume excessive amounts of memory when proxying HTTP/1.1 requests or responses with many small (i.e. 1 byte) chunks. CNCF Envoy versiones hasta 1.13.0, puede consumir cantidades excesivas de memoria cuando se hace proxy a peticiones o respuestas HTTP/1.1 con muchos fragmentos pequeños (es decir, 1 byte). A resource consumption vulnerability was found in the servicemesh-proxy in Envoy. An attacker could send specially crafted small HTTP/1.1 packets that, when processed, could cause excessive amounts of memory to be used, possibly degrading or crashing the application. • https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2020:0734 https://github.com/envoyproxy/envoy/security/advisories/GHSA-jwcm-4pwp-c2qv https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2022/05/msg00025.html https://www.envoyproxy.io/docs/envoy/v1.13.1/intro/version_history https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2020-8659 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1802539 • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •
