CVE-2019-11725
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11725
When a user navigates to site marked as unsafe by the Safebrowsing API, warning messages are displayed and navigation is interrupted but resources from the same site loaded through websockets are not blocked, leading to the loading of unsafe resources and bypassing safebrowsing protections. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 68. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00009.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00010.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00017.html https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1483510 https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201908-12 https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisories/mfsa2019-21 •
CVE-2019-11721
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11721
The unicode latin 'kra' character can be used to spoof a standard 'k' character in the addressbar. This allows for domain spoofing attacks as do not display as punycode text, allowing for user confusion. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 68. El carácter latino 'kra' de Unicode puede ser usado para falsificar un carácter 'k' estándar en la barra de direcciones. Esto permite que los ataques de suplantación de dominio no se muestren como texto de código púny, lo que permite la confusión del usuario. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00009.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00010.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00017.html https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1256009 https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/201908-12 https://www.mozilla.org/security/advisories/mfsa2019-21 •
CVE-2019-11730 – Mozilla: Same-origin policy treats all files in a directory as having the same-origin
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11730
A vulnerability exists where if a user opens a locally saved HTML file, this file can use file: URIs to access other files in the same directory or sub-directories if the names are known or guessed. The Fetch API can then be used to read the contents of any files stored in these directories and they may uploaded to a server. It was demonstrated that in combination with a popular Android messaging app, if a malicious HTML attachment is sent to a user and they opened that attachment in Firefox, due to that app's predictable pattern for locally-saved file names, it is possible to read attachments the victim received from other correspondents. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8. Se presenta una vulnerabilidad donde, si un usuario abre un archivo HTML guardado localmente, este archivo puede usar URIs file: para acceder a otros archivos en el mismo directorio o subdirectorios si los nombres son conocidos o adivinados. • https://github.com/alidnf/CVE-2019-11730 http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00055.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00058.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00073.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00009.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00010.html https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1558299 https://lists.debian.org/debian& • CWE-829: Inclusion of Functionality from Untrusted Control Sphere •
CVE-2019-11709 – Mozilla: Memory safety bugs fixed in Firefox 68 and Firefox ESR 60.8
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11709
Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 67 and Firefox ESR 60.7. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8. CVE-2019-11717 – Mozilla: Caret character improperly escaped in origins
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-11717
A vulnerability exists where the caret ("^") character is improperly escaped constructing some URIs due to it being used as a separator, allowing for possible spoofing of origin attributes. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00055.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00058.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00073.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00009.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-10/msg00010.html https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1548306 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/08/msg00001.html https:/ • CWE-116: Improper Encoding or Escaping of Output CWE-138: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements •
