IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0, 8.0, 8.5, and 9.0 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM X-Force ID: 184433. • https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/vulnerabilities/184433 https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6328895 • CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') •
CVE-2020-13920 – activemq: improper authentication allows MITM attack
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-13920
Apache ActiveMQ uses LocateRegistry.createRegistry() to create the JMX RMI registry and binds the server to the "jmxrmi" entry. It is possible to connect to the registry without authentication and call the rebind method to rebind jmxrmi to something else. If an attacker creates another server to proxy the original, and bound that, he effectively becomes a man in the middle and is able to intercept the credentials when an user connects. Upgrade to Apache ActiveMQ 5.15.12. Apache ActiveMQ usa la función LocateRegistry.createRegistry() para crear el registro RMI de JMX y vincular el servidor a la entrada "jmxrmi". • http://activemq.apache.org/security-advisories.data/CVE-2020-13920-announcement.txt https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r946488fb942fd35c6a6e0359f52504a558ed438574a8f14d36d7dcd7%40%3Ccommits.activemq.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/rb2fd3bf2dce042e0ab3f3c94c4767c96bb2e7e6737624d63162df36d%40%3Ccommits.activemq.apache.org%3E https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/10/msg00013.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2023/11/msg00013.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuoct2020.html https:/& • CWE-287: Improper Authentication CWE-306: Missing Authentication for Critical Function •
CVE-2020-1968 – Raccoon attack
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2020-1968
The Raccoon attack exploits a flaw in the TLS specification which can lead to an attacker being able to compute the pre-master secret in connections which have used a Diffie-Hellman (DH) based ciphersuite. In such a case this would result in the attacker being able to eavesdrop on all encrypted communications sent over that TLS connection. The attack can only be exploited if an implementation re-uses a DH secret across multiple TLS connections. Note that this issue only impacts DH ciphersuites and not ECDH ciphersuites. This issue affects OpenSSL 1.0.2 which is out of support and no longer receiving public updates. • https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/09/msg00016.html https://security.gentoo.org/glsa/202210-02 https://security.netapp.com/advisory/ntap-20200911-0004 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4504-1 https://www.openssl.org/news/secadv/20200909.txt https://www.oracle.com//security-alerts/cpujul2021.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuApr2021.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuapr2022.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpujan2021.html https://www.o • CWE-203: Observable Discrepancy •
CVE-2019-20916 – python-pip: directory traversal in _download_http_url() function in src/pip/_internal/download.py
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-20916
The pip package before 19.2 for Python allows Directory Traversal when a URL is given in an install command, because a Content-Disposition header can have ../ in a filename, as demonstrated by overwriting the /root/.ssh/authorized_keys file. This occurs in _download_http_url in _internal/download.py. Esto ocurre en la función _download_http_url en el archivo _internal/download.py A flaw was found in the pip package installer for Python when downloading or installing a remote package via a specified URL. Improper validation of the "Content-Disposition" HTTP response header makes a path traversal attack possible, leading to an arbitrary file overwrite. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-10/msg00005.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-10/msg00010.html https://github.com/gzpan123/pip/commit/a4c735b14a62f9cb864533808ac63936704f2ace https://github.com/pypa/pip/compare/19.1.1...19.2 https://github.com/pypa/pip/issues/6413 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/09/msg00010.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuapr2022.html https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpujul2022.ht • CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') •
