Multiple buffer overflow vulnerabilities were found in the QUIC image decoding process of the SPICE remote display system, before spice-0.14.2-1. Both the SPICE client (spice-gtk) and server are affected by these flaws. These flaws allow a malicious client or server to send specially crafted messages that, when processed by the QUIC image compression algorithm, result in a process crash or potential code execution. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-11/msg00000.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-11/msg00001.html https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1868435 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/11/msg00001.html https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/11/msg00002.html https://usn.ubuntu.com/4572-1 https://usn.ubuntu.com/4572-2 https://www.debian.org/security/2020/dsa-4771 https://www.openwall.com/lists/oss • CWE-120: Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input ('Classic Buffer Overflow') •

Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.20 to 2.4.43. A specially crafted value for the 'Cache-Digest' header in a HTTP/2 request would result in a crash when the server actually tries to HTTP/2 PUSH a resource afterwards. Configuring the HTTP/2 feature via "H2Push off" will mitigate this vulnerability for unpatched servers. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-08/msg00068.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-08/msg00071.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2020-10/msg00081.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/160392/Apache-2.4.43-mod_http2-Memory-Corruption.html https://httpd.apache.org/security/vulnerabilities_24.html#CVE-2020-9490 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r06f0d87ebb6d59ed8379633f36f72f5b1f79cadfda72ede0830b42cf%40%3Ccvs.httpd.apache.org%3E https://lists& • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-444: Inconsistent Interpretation of HTTP Requests ('HTTP Request/Response Smuggling') •

cyrus-sasl (aka Cyrus SASL) 2.1.27 has an out-of-bounds write leading to unauthenticated remote denial-of-service in OpenLDAP via a malformed LDAP packet. • http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2020/Jul/23 http://seclists.org/fulldisclosure/2020/Jul/24 http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2022/02/23/4 https://github.com/cyrusimap/cyrus-sasl/issues/587 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/r58af02e294bd07f487e2c64ffc0a29b837db5600e33b6e698b9d696b%40%3Cissues.bookkeeper.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/rf4c02775860db415b4955778a131c2795223f61cb8c6a450893651e4%40%3Cissues.bookkeeper.apache.org%3E https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2019/12/msg00027.h • CWE-193: Off-by-one Error CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •

A vulnerability was found in WebKit. The flaw is triggered when processing maliciously crafted web content that may lead to arbitrary code execution. Improved memory handling addresses the multiple memory corruption issues. WebKitGTK contains a memory corruption vulnerability which can allow an attacker to perform remote code execution. • https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1876611 https://webkitgtk.org/security/WSA-2019-0005.html https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2019-8720 • CWE-119: Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer •

In systemd 240, bus_open_system_watch_bind_with_description in shared/bus-util.c (as used by systemd-resolved to connect to the system D-Bus instance), calls sd_bus_set_trusted, which disables access controls for incoming D-Bus messages. An unprivileged user can exploit this by executing D-Bus methods that should be restricted to privileged users, in order to change the system's DNS resolver settings. An improper authorization flaw was discovered in systemd-resolved in the way it configures the exposed DBus interface org.freedesktop.resolve1. • http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2019/09/03/1 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3592 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:3941 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1746057 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/BRE5IS24XTF5WNZGH2L7GSQJKARBOEGL https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/HIKGKXZ5OEGOEYURHLJHEMFYNLEGAW5B https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce% • CWE-285: Improper Authorization •
