CVE-2019-9514 – Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a reset flood, potentially leading to a denial of service
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-9514
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to a reset flood, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens a number of streams and sends an invalid request over each stream that should solicit a stream of RST_STREAM frames from the peer. Depending on how the peer queues the RST_STREAM frames, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00076.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00002.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00011.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00021.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00031.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09/msg00032.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-09 • CWE-400: Uncontrolled Resource Consumption CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling •
CVE-2019-14934
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-14934
An issue was discovered in PDFResurrect before 0.18. pdf_load_pages_kids in pdf.c doesn't validate a certain size value, which leads to a malloc failure and out-of-bounds write. Se detectó un problema en PDFResurrect anterior a versión 0.18. La función pdf_load_pages_kids en el archivo pdf.c no comprueba un cierto valor de tamaño, lo que conlleva a un error de malloc y a una escritura fuera de límites. • https://github.com/enferex/pdfresurrect/commit/0c4120fffa3dffe97b95c486a120eded82afe8a6 https://github.com/enferex/pdfresurrect/compare/v0.17...v0.18 https://lists.debian.org/debian-lts-announce/2020/12/msg00002.html https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/4DBYXYU2VSDJ3NAL54IW2KYD3TZSR33M https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/LXN6W5QTNQJ2LFDCQWKYSMMZ3NPUWP3U https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedorap • CWE-787: Out-of-bounds Write •
CVE-2019-14745
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-14745
In radare2 before 3.7.0, a command injection vulnerability exists in bin_symbols() in libr/core/cbin.c. By using a crafted executable file, it's possible to execute arbitrary shell commands with the permissions of the victim. This vulnerability is due to improper handling of symbol names embedded in executables. • https://github.com/xooxo/CVE-2019-14745 https://bananamafia.dev/post/r2-pwndebian https://github.com/radare/radare2/pull/14690 https://github.com/radare/radare2/releases/tag/3.7.0 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/ETWG4VKHWL5F74L3QBBKSCOXHSRNSRRT https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/MGA2PVBFA6VPWWLMBGWVBESHAJBQ7OXJ https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/messag • CWE-77: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') •
CVE-2019-14744 – kdelibs: malicious desktop files and configuration files lead to code execution with minimal user interaction
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-14744
In KDE Frameworks KConfig before 5.61.0, malicious desktop files and configuration files lead to code execution with minimal user interaction. This relates to libKF5ConfigCore.so, and the mishandling of .desktop and .directory files, as demonstrated by a shell command on an Icon line in a .desktop file. A flaw was found in the KDE Frameworks KConfig prior to version 5.61.0. • http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00013.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00016.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-08/msg00034.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/153981/Slackware-Security-Advisory-kdelibs-Updates.html https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:2606 https://gist.githubusercontent.com/zeropwn/630832df151029cb8f22d5b6b9efaefb/raw/64aa3d30279acb207f787ce9c135eefd5e52643b/kde-kdesktopfile-command-injection.txt https://lists.deb • CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') CWE-454: External Initialization of Trusted Variables or Data Stores •
CVE-2019-14664
https://notcve.org/view.php?id=CVE-2019-14664
In Enigmail below 2.1, an attacker in possession of PGP encrypted emails can wrap them as sub-parts within a crafted multipart email. The encrypted part(s) can further be hidden using HTML/CSS or ASCII newline characters. This modified multipart email can be re-sent by the attacker to the intended receiver. If the receiver replies to this (benign looking) email, he unknowingly leaks the plaintext of the encrypted message part(s) back to the attacker. This attack variant bypasses protection mechanisms implemented after the "EFAIL" attacks. • https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/AVNTEF3WSOOQYKMIPEH7F77UPXES5BU5 https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/CYWBJHSBBLAHKMRWDWH2XXQDYAGDHB5I https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/package-announce%40lists.fedoraproject.org/message/GHC5WDQ47FQSL5CTGQUYIHVC3RNZ7UH5 https://sourceforge.net/p/enigmail/bugs/984 https://www.enigmail.net/index.php/en/download/changelog • CWE-319: Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information •
