Memory safety bug present in Firefox ESR 128.10, and Thunderbird 128.10. This bug showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort this could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 128.11.

Multiple security issues have been found in the Mozilla Firefox web browser, which could potentially result in the execution of arbitrary code or cross-origin leaks. For the stable distribution (bookworm), these problems have been fixed in version 128.11.0esr-1~deb12u1.
