The Favicon Generator (CLOSED) WordPress plugin before 2.1 does not validate files to be uploaded and does not have CSRF checks, which could allow attackers to make logged in admin upload arbitrary files such as PHP on the server The Favicon Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.5. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the output_sub_admin_page_0 function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
