The Apache Web Server (httpd) specific code that normalised the requested path before matching it to the URI-worker map in Apache Tomcat JK (mod_jk) Connector 1.2.0 to 1.2.44 did not handle some edge cases correctly. If only a sub-set of the URLs supported by Tomcat were exposed via httpd, then it was possible for a specially constructed request to expose application functionality through the reverse proxy that was not intended for clients accessing the application via the reverse proxy. It was also possible in some configurations for a specially constructed request to bypass the access controls configured in httpd. While there is some overlap between this issue and CVE-2018-1323, they are not identical. • https://github.com/immunIT/CVE-2018-11759 https://github.com/Jul10l1r4/Identificador-CVE-2018-11759 https://github.com/julioliraup/Identificador-CVE-2018-11759 http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105888 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0366 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0367 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/277d42b48b6e9aef50949c0dcc79ce21693091d73da246b3c1981925%40%3Cdev.tomcat.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/5b7a23e245c93235c503900da854a143596d901bf1a1f67e851a5de4%40%3Cdev.tomcat.ap • CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') •

When the default servlet in Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.11, 8.5.0 to 8.5.33 and 7.0.23 to 7.0.90 returned a redirect to a directory (e.g. redirecting to '/foo/' when the user requested '/foo') a specially crafted URL could be used to cause the redirect to be generated to any URI of the attackers choice. These are details on an open redirection vulnerability in Apache Tomcat version 9.0.0M1 that was discovered in 2018. • https://www.exploit-db.com/exploits/50118 https://github.com/Cappricio-Securities/CVE-2018-11784 http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-06/msg00030.html http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2019-07/msg00056.html http://packetstormsecurity.com/files/163456/Apache-Tomcat-9.0.0M1-Open-Redirect.html http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/105524 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0130 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2019:0131 https://access.redhat.c • CWE-99: Improper Control of Resource Identifiers ('Resource Injection') CWE-601: URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') •

When using an OCSP responder Apache Tomcat Native 1.2.0 to 1.2.16 and 1.1.23 to 1.1.34 did not correctly handle invalid responses. This allowed for revoked client certificates to be incorrectly identified. It was therefore possible for users to authenticate with revoked certificates when using mutual TLS. Users not using OCSP checks are not affected by this vulnerability. • http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/www-announce/201807.mbox/%3C20180721095943.GA24320%40minotaur.apache.org%3E http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/104936 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041507 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2469 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2470 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/ba661b0edd913b39ff129a32d855620dd861883ade05fd88a8ce517d%40%3Cdev.tomcat.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/f8e0814e11c7f21f42224b6de111cb3f5e5ab5c15b78924c516d4ec2%40%3Cdev.tomcat.apache • CWE-287: Improper Authentication CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation •

Apache Tomcat Native 1.2.0 to 1.2.16 and 1.1.23 to 1.1.34 has a flaw that does not properly check OCSP pre-produced responses, which are lists (multiple entries) of certificate statuses. Subsequently, revoked client certificates may not be properly identified, allowing for users to authenticate with revoked certificates to connections that require mutual TLS. Users not using OCSP checks are not affected by this vulnerability. • http://mail-archives.us.apache.org/mod_mbox/www-announce/201807.mbox/%3C20180721101944.GA45239%40minotaur.apache.org%3E http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/104934 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041507 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2469 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2470 https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/ba661b0edd913b39ff129a32d855620dd861883ade05fd88a8ce517d%40%3Cdev.tomcat.apache.org%3E https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/f8e0814e11c7f21f42224b6de111cb3f5e5ab5c15b78924c516d4ec2%40%3Cdev.tomcat.ap • CWE-287: Improper Authentication CWE-295: Improper Certificate Validation •

An improper handing of overflow in the UTF-8 decoder with supplementary characters can lead to an infinite loop in the decoder causing a Denial of Service. Versions Affected: Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M9 to 9.0.7, 8.5.0 to 8.5.30, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.51, and 7.0.28 to 7.0.86. • http://mail-archives.us.apache.org/mod_mbox/www-announce/201807.mbox/%3C20180722090435.GA60759%40minotaur.apache.org%3E http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/104898 http://www.securitytracker.com/id/1041375 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2018:2188 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHEA-2018:2189 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2700 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2701 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2018:2740 https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-20 • CWE-835: Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop') •
